«Τα μαργαριτάρια δεν τρώγονται» ψιθύρισε καθώς στερέωνε τα τελευταία λευκά μαργαριτάρια πάνω στο αέρινο φόρεμα που θα γινόταν το κεντρικό κομμάτι της καλοκαιρινής της συλλογής. Τα μαργαριτάρια γεννιούνται στη σιωπή του βυθού, κρυμμένα μέσα σε κοχύλια που αγκαλιάζουν το μυστικό τους με στοργή. Κάθε μαργαριτάρι κουβαλά μαζί του την ανάσα του νερού, τον ρυθμό των κυμάτων και το άγγιγμα του απρόσιτου. Τα μαργαριτάρια δεν τρώγονται, είναι όνειρα που φοριούνται για να λάμπουν στο φως.
